Review

West Side Story is an American musical written by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Soundheim and choreography by Jerome Robbins.

It´s set in New York in the mid ´50s exploring the rilvalry between 2 teenage gangs, The Jets (from the US) and The Sharks (from Puerto Rico). The protagonists Tony (from The Jets) and Maria (Bernardo´s sister who is The Sharks leader) fall in love.

This play is dark themed, has sophisticated music, extended dance scenes and focus on the social problems in the US.

We believe that this play is amazing , is not a surprise that this story has been played around the world.
